December 2014

As I sat and looked through all the pictures from December, there was a ton of us just hanging out at home and taking pictures of Wilson because we are overly obsessed with him! It was a fun month those we got to go see the lights at Temple Square again, celebrate Talia's 4th Birthday, and of course celebrate Christmas and New Years!

This is one of my favorite outfits for the winter, a warm full body onsie! He looked so dang cute in it! If I could, I would have put him in it everyday!

I considered myself very lucky and had never been peed on since Wilson was born, then the mother load of a full bladder was released on me! It was all over my sweats and my t-shirt! It was probably one of the funniest and pretty gross things to happen thus far with Wilson!

When I was holding Wilson one day while he was sleeping, which I do a ton! I couldn't help but take pictures of all his little parts. He won't always be this little and he won't always fit in my arms just right, and I'm so glad I took these pictures to remember his all his sweet pieces.

We tend to take a lot of selfies...

Totally oblivious to the fact that there is a party going on around him! haha He was so pooped he napped through part of Talia's Mega Big Birthday Party!

Shannon gave us a bunch of toys and one of those toys was a small baseball bat, I don't know who was more excited, Brad or Wilson.  Either way it's adorable and Wilson loves to hold it.

We went and saw the cutest Santa with the Greens! He was so gentle and soft spoken with Wilson! Needless to say I'm in LOVE with this picture!

We were lucky enough to go to the Lights at Temple Square a second time and meet up with the Dentons and Brad's Aunt and Uncle and cousins! Samantha was getting ready to leave on a mission and it was so fun to get to see her and wish her the best of luck!

A few random pictures of Wilson! He turned 5 months in December! He was also given the cutest slouchy beanie from our friends Megan and Christian!

We celebrated Christmas Eve with the Bowles and Wilson was such a happy boy! We even got a surprise visit from Santa while we were there and Wilson cozied up to him no problem!

Mom bought Dean and Wilson matching "My First Christmas" outfits and Brad did this cute set up to take pictures! It was hard to pick just one because they all turned out so cute!

Wilson graduated to a "big boy" bath in the sink and was still a little too unsteady! But he liked splashing in the water and being able to sit it the warm water.  We also decided to try rice cereal! It was so fun to see how he reacted to it, but within a few days decided he liked it!

Per usual Brad and I had a Rocking' New Years Eve full of food, movies, and trying our hardest to stay up till midnight! We made it to midnight and celebrated with a kiss and then dragged ourselves to bed, to probably regret it in the morning!

2014 was a year full of tons of first for Brad and I. We are so grateful to have Wilson and are cherishing every moment and memory with him! We are excited to see what 2015 brings us and are ready for the fun new things it will bring us!

November 2014

November was another fun month, but if I think every month with Wilson is fun! Wilson turned 4 months and was as smiley as ever! I'm loving going back and looking at all these pictures (since it's Jan 2016) and remembering how easy it was to make him smile! He was always so happy and rarely cried!

We were so lucky to have Mom come for a visit and get to hang with us! Wilson really needed some Grandma B time! I love how he would just chill with her.  And it wasn't until one of her last days that she actually heard him cry! She thought that was so funny!

Grandma B is also the only one brave enough/that I trusted cutting Wilsons hair at 4 months! It was so crazy long he really needed one right after he was born.  But we cut and saved his rats tail and continue to this day to battle that thing! He was completely unsure of what we were doing to him but was a trooper though the whole thing!

Just getting the last of it! He also lost almost ALL the hair on the left side of his head so we called it his hipster haircut!

Realizing he really didn't fit in the sink anymore! haha Unfortunately we didn't have a tub so he graduated from the baby seat bath to the actual sink. Needless to say we are happy that we now live in a place with a tub!

Wilson really discovered his toes, he would soak through socks or just pull them off to get to his toes.  I have to say this was one of my favorite staged! A: because he would just curl and bend right up, and B: it was such an stereotypical stage that I was so excited to see and experience.

One of my favorite things about Salt Lake City is the Christmas Lights at Temple Square! It was even better to go as a family AND with the Greens!!

It was freezing and I had never dressed a baby for weather! Next time hat and gloves for sure!! He did ok but I've since learned and poor Wilson looks like the little brother from A Christmas Story!
P.S. this full body suit was from the Greens and saved us that winter! It was the greatest thing.

All of us together! We had so much fun and love hanging with the Greens!

Dads being dads.  I say it all the time but I feel so lucky that my best friend and husband are so close! And even crazier to think that we both have families!

Somewhere between this month we had a great thanksgiving with the Curnow's and got to enjoy seeing everyone and playing with them all! We always look forward to Thanksgiving with family and per usual it didn't disappoint!
