My Birthday Boy and My Valentine

I don't know if everyone knows but Brad's birthday is on Valentine's Day and so we both get to celebrate each other! Brad turned 23 today and is so old now!! I've only known Brad for almost 2 years! Crazy huh? But he's a wonderful husband. Everyone that meets him tells me they love him and think he's such a nice and funny guy. He's low key and very little bothers him. He's always so kind, i love talking to him and we love to go shopping together. He gives me confidence and has so much faith in me. I'm still so suprised he picked me! I love him and here is a few pictures of him. This is him with Sadie, we bought her a Christmas outfit!

This is Brad when he trimmed his beard yesterday! We are going to shave it off progressionally.

This is what I came home to last night! I was so excited! It was the sweetest card and totally unexpected! It was the nicest thing! It made me feel so inportant!

These are my guilty pleasure during valentine's time! They are the best when they are fresh! I could eat them all day!!

We've had so much fun getting to know each other even more. We love every minute we spend together and look forward to many more wonderful years together.

Super Bowl Party!!

This is our finished dining room. I love this room mostly because it's the only really finished room! ha But that was our decore for the super bowl, we had tons of food, the table was full of stuff, I didn't get a picture though.. bummer! During the half time show, our friend Danny brought his rock band stuff, and this is the girls rocking out! ha It was really fun to have and it's nice to have some room for it.
Behind Travis you can see the full wall decorations, and on them are like 4 inch candles! Travis made deviled eggs and lil' smokies wrapped in bacon for the party and everyone loved them, he was the hit of the party!!

This is my grizzly man, I was the nice wife that let him grow a beard during the winter since he has to shave for school, 7 months out of the year...i know, it's cute?! ha Brad loves it though, so that's what matters! He's wearing his Lofa Tatupu Seahawks jersey for the big game!

This is the other view of the table and the big cooler of drinks! Not kidding they were all cleared out! Thank goodness I got plenty! I had so much fun getting the decorations of the party, and Every item was a dollar! Thanks to the dollar spot at Target!

More to come soon, since Brad and I are on our anniversary trip at the Grand Targhee Resort!...

A Tiny Preview

This is our new entertainment center and DVD stand. We are going for dark brown so this summers project is to restain the DVD stand because pictures on the internet are very deceiving. But it will be fun to have a summer project! This is one of two lamps in the Living room, those are pretty much the colors, the dark brown table, the maroon lamp shade and the deep, kinda rusty gold as an accent. Also pictured are my new blocks from Joy for Christmas! I love them and they are my first decoration up! So today Brad and I are going to be working on the spare bedroom so we'll try to have pictures of that by Monday!!....Maybe.. ;)

Hoilday in the Sun!!

First, I should apologize for taking so long to update our blog. Since the beginning of December Brad and I have been packing and getting ready to move into a townhouse and go to California for a wonderful Chirstmas. So our big news is that we CLOSED on our house Christmas Eve at mom and dad's house and Jules is a notary so she did that with us that night also! It's been very exciting and stressful to unpack and get everything going, I don't know how people move so often, it's one of the hardest things I've done! But it's coming together and I will be posting pictures of the house as soon as we are a little more settled!
This Christmas we went down to California to see my family. We stayed for 9 days and enjoyed every one of them! It was so fun to see 2 of my sisters again and many of my aunts, uncles and cousins. One night we went to Jules apartment and made gingerbread houses! This was the back of Team Curnow's (mine and Brad) ours was the only one that stayed up and didn't break down, I think that's a sign!! ;) Mom suprised us a few months ago, with tickets to see Wicked!! Everyone in my family had seen it but me, so I was very excited! So Chirstmas Eve we went to Hollywood a little eariler since Brad had never been. We walked around and Brad got to see all the crazies that walk around and dress up like characters from movies, we went to the chinese theater and saw the hand prints of a lot of stars and a 70 year old Marylin Monroe! ha This is Brad and I infront of Capitol Records, Brad was excited to see that! Peace signs are for tourist, we wanted to fit the roll! ha

There is a better one of Capitol Records!
This is a picture of the Pantages Theater, where we saw Wicked! It had just started to rain! Not so good for the picture!

This is our Christmas present from the Curnows, it's official Trail Blazer Jerseys! We both have Brandon Roy ones! These were our Christmas Day outfits!

All and all it was a fun trip, Joy and Jim and the girls came to stay a few nights and we had fun playing with them! The girls loved their Uncle Brad! They always needed his say or opinion! ha For the Snowball Family, Brad was a fan of sweet soup! So I'm hoping that bumps me up a few levels on favorite grandchild! ha But it was such a treat to see so much family in such a short time. Sorry it took me so long to post anything but I've taken my first breath since we've been home! Love you all! And be waiting for an update on the house!!

Our 1st Christmas!!

1st off Merry Christmas to everyone! I hope you are all excited and done with all your shopping because believe it or not Brad and I have celebrated our part of chirstmas together already! Here is our tree that we bought and I put up while Brad was at work and put all of his presents underneath. Who knew that he loved Christmas so much that he was begging me to open them. I said, "No, NO, NO!!" But he kept asking and asking and I finally cracked. But it was a lot of fun and we really had fun doing our Christmas together! I loved our small little tree, it's so cute and so fun! Every Christmas my mom and dad make chicken scampi for dinner. And since I love chicken scampi I decided it's going to be our new tradition. This is the scraps from after dinner! But we lit a candle and made it a little fancy.
This is Brad and his stack of presents from Santa (me) as excited as can be because he finally got to open them! ha

This is me and my stack of presents from Santa (Brad). I had no idea what anything was!!

Brad's big present this year was an acoustic guitar pick up, which basically allows Brad to plug into an amp. As you can see he was very excited!!

My big presents this year were ALL 4 SEASONS OF GREY'S ANATOMY!! It was so exciting and I had no idea I was getting them! It's been so much fun watching them together!!
So that was our Christmas and we can't wait for the rest of it when we head down to California to see the family! We can't wait to get away from the snow and see everyone!
We are also very excited to be closing on our house either tuesday or wednesday! We are packing up and getting ready to move before we get to California!
You are now updated in our lives and sorry it took so long!! Love you all!!

My First Thanksgiving Away

Ok so when I put these pictures in they were in the opposite order but hey, what am I going to do! ha
Anyways this was my first thanksgiving cooking the meal. It was very scary but I got it all prepped the day before, so I got the stuffing all made, the sweet potatoes all done and got the turkey all done up! So then all Brad had to do while I was at work was get the rolls out to rise and put the things in the oven. I worked til about 4:45 and when I got home everything was going to plan and Brad and done everything I asked of him, it was so sweet of him.
This is a side note. Here is Sadie today while she was sleeping. She apparently is growing out of her bed and is sleeping on the floor and most of the time on the end of our bed. She is getting so big, we took her to get her first round of shots and she is about 9 lbs and healthy!
Here is Brad sleeping on the floor before I left to work yesterday. It was really cute. We moved some of our furniture so we have a lot more room in our living room!

Here is the table of all the people we had over. We had all 3 leaves in hardly had room for all the food. But we had tons of food, and while we ate we baked the pies and had a wonderful time. Brad and I ended up cooking the turkey, stuffing, sweet potatoes, rolls, and pies (with homemade whipping cream). We had so much fun, and after dinner we did a little cleaning and player ballderdash.. or something like that! ha

And here is me carving my first Turkey!! It was a lot harder than it looks, but it was fun and tasted even better! I can't wait to help next year!
