Does It Ever End?!

So, now that I have double the space I'm learning that my work has doubled and I'm so tired of cleaning the house! I take a week off and it's a disaster! It's so hard to keep up! I'm giving it a lot of though of just stop cleaning! ha Not really. I just had to vent for a little. I need to get a schedule down or something! ha For right now I'm going to enjoy watching my favorite show and fold clean clothes!

HA! I LOVE that picture because it is absolutely true. I always think my house would stay so spotless if I was the only one living here, but that's only because I have to clean it. If I didn't do the work then I wouldn't worry so much about undoing it. I feel like I clean ALL the time and the house is never clean. It only gets worse when you have kids. I guess my suggestion would be to decide what is the most important to you. I like having a clean kitchen, so I make sure I do the dishes right after dinner and wipe down everything before bed. I also like to vacuum. Dusting I slack on and I often just surface clean the bathroom until it gets gross. :) Anyway, I'm sure you are doing a fabulous job. Love you tons!
PS-I mailed your birthday present today. Sorry it's late.

I agree with Shannon....prioritize the spots that bug you the most. And make Brad pitch in too. While you don't have a yard, he should have to help with the inside!!

Go to www.flylady.com. She has lots of great suggestions for busy women. Don't try to do them all, just pick one and work on it then pick another. Look forward to seeing you soon.

It's a good thing you grew up doing chores so you at least know how to clean a house.\;-) Don't worry, you can thank me later. Shannon's right about the part with kids. When it's just Dad and I the hallways hardly ever get dusty and when you all lived at home they needed to be dusted almost everyday. I think one trick is keeping your house tidy. People think your house is clean when it's just tidy. Ahh, the joys of being grown up and having a home. Something to be thankful for :-) I miss you!!
