January 2016

We finished up our California trip by having a lovely New Year's Eve dinner and then we hung for a few more days and made our way home again.
The rest of January was a bit of nothing, Brad started another semester and Wilson and I spent the winter days inside chilling!

Uncle Rick wins with the distract any type of screen will do the trick! haha

Like I said before watching the boys play together was really a highlight of the trip! Jules was such a trooper to come over so often so they could play!

And so it begins.... I can't wait to break up their wrestling matches someday, or at least referee!

We made it home!!! Wilson loved being able to play with his new toys from Santa and but missed his play buddy and the little tykes car!

Brad has had food allergies since he was a little boy and has been to the allergist a few times to find out what he can't eat.  Well we decided we wanted to get some questions answered and went to see the allergist after 8 years since his last visit.
Well after a crazy long appt, we found out Brad is now ONLY allergic to peanuts!!
We were both so excited about the news!! Brad has now tried every other nut out there, his favorite are cashews and any flavored almonds.  He's had Chick-fil-a way too many times now.  He's had shrimp and crab legs and loves those too! He's also tried avocados and guacamole!
He's having a blast trying all the things he was told to stay away from for years and is enjoying opening up his palate to new things!

Meanwhile this pregnancy is moving along and we are more than half way through! I'm just starting to feel her move and enjoying her movements.

Like I said we did a LOT of hanging out, Wilson got creative with his playing!
We got to watch Dad on the tv again as he was covering another UVU Basketball game. Wilson loves to watch basketball and really loves to yell at the tv while watching!

He's really getting down his cheese face and it's so adorable! We distract ourselves with anything and everything while Brad does homework and recaps!

We got a new nephew!! Jackson Scott Denton joined us earlier this month and we can't wait to meet him! He's so so cute!

More hanging and apparently trying to keep warm during the winter!

It was time to start going through clothes and switching things over! We found some fun treasures in the bins, Wilson found a hat and his Seahawks sweatshirt!

We tried a new place for breakfast called Marley's which is attached to the Harley Davidson store and shop! Wilson loved the table because it had all the PEEZ dispensers in it! And bonus the food was really tasty!

I finally did it!! I got my wisdom teeth out! Since I'm pregnant I was very limited on pain management so for the extraction they did a bunch of shots which worked great.  Since Brad had to watch Wilson I was alone in the office, luckily the very nice assistant leet me hold her hand during the 8-10 shots! Having the teeth removed took maybe 2 minutes, I couldn't believe it!  I'm happy to say the recovery was a lot better than I thought, by the second day I felt pretty good, just limited on what I could eat, but I was able to take care of Wilson no problem and didn't need any more pain medication by the end of day 2!

Not the safest but he is so crazy in the tub and has so much fun playing!

Took Wilson to his 18 month check up and got his last shots until he is 4-5 years old! Hurray!!
Also the best way to get Wilson distracted or to stop crying is SnapChat!! He loves making videos and taking weird pictures!

I won these awesome Valentine's Day Leggings from a LuLaRoe give away and I love them! They are so cute, soft, and cozy!
Wilson is getting older and more active! He loves to flip upside down and is getting close to being able to do a summersault!

We fill our days by baking, playing, and watching movies! Wilson is such a great helper and an even better taste tester! haha
He has decided that the small Snowball Family Quilt is his and he loves to snuggle up in it!

Brad and I are always so baffled at how big Wilson is getting! He's in nursery now and he couldn't be happier! He loves playing with the other kids and is never ready to leave when Brad picks him up.  Brad and I also got called to be primary teachers, we teach the 4 year olds! They are all such cute kids and we are excited to get to know them!
