20 Questions?

You'll probably notice this on the first question, but this isn't Mel, it's Brad.

1. What do you want right this minute? For it to be 10:00 Saturday morning so I can play football.

2. If you were a boxer, what would your ring name be? The Round Mound of Pound

3. Would you rather be perfect from the waist up or the waist down? I think I'd have to go with waist up, that's a harder area for me to trim up than below.

4. Would you rather meet Oprah or Ellen? Probably Oprah, just because she's freakishly rich and might send some my way.

5. Have you ever had Gonorrhea? No, thank heavens

6. What does your favorite pair of underwear look like? That's tough, I think I'll have to say.... white? Definitely my white ones. Mel says they're very flattering.

7. What’s one thing you’re afraid of? Cockroaches. Anything that can survive a nuclear attack (besides a twinkie) is not good in my book.

8. If you could be reincarnated as someone/something, what would you pick? Probably the Mets' thirdbaseman David Wright. Then I would demand a trade to Seattle. Or maybe Seahawks linebacker Lofa Tatupu.

9. Who is your least favorite actor? Steven Segal. I'm sorry, but he just doesn't strike me as an action hero. The eyebrow just doesn't cut it.

10. Do you ever have recurring dreams? I used to have a recurring nightmare/night terror, whatever you choose to call it, and I would always wake up freaking out. I've had it since I've been older and, fortunately, it doesn't have the same affect on me.

12. Do you like reality TV? Please, no

13. Are you happy right now? Of course

14. Would you rather have a salad or a burger? Really? Burger of course.

15. What would you do if you were locked in a room with your worst enemy for 3 days? I would probably count the bricks or tiles in the room when I wasn't sleeping.

16. Were you popular in high school? Not really, but I was content.

17. What did you want to be when you were little, and did you follow that dream? I wanted to be either a professional baseball player or football player. Obviously not.

18. What’s one of your favorite quotes? "'No regrets!' That's my motto. That and... 'Everybody Wang-Chung tonight.'" "Carpe the diem! Sieze the... Carp!" (Both from "Out Cold")

19. What is one of your weaknesses? Cookies. Definitely cookies. Can't live without them.

20. Do you see the glass as half empty or half full? Half full, I'd say I'm pretty optimistic.

Trip to see the Fam!!

First off I'm sorry this took so long to get up. Who knew life could get so busy. Work and getting our lives ready for school has been kind of crazy. But here is our blogs and we love you all. Sorry about the delay!!
It was so nice to see the family! Saturday morning we took the train to Salt Lake and walked around temple square, and those of us who hadn't seen the Joseph Smith movie went to watch it and Jules and Mom watch baby Davin and Weston. Who apparently got very hyper which if you're with Jules and Mom just seems to happen, and Weston had to tickle angel Moroni's toes... and now looks like is his new thing!
This is Brad and I sitting infront of a fountain while we enjoyed walking around temple square. Me and my Mommy!! It was fun to see her again, and catch up and cuddle and get some of that mommy love before I see her in December... such a long time away. It was fun walking around temple square with all the weddings going on.. it made me want to re-do mine all over again... so fun!!

Me and my sisters, minus Joy. It was nice to see them and to catch up. I hadn 't seen Jules in like 6 months.. it was aweful! But nothing had changed and we still had fun being hyper together. After we walked around we had lunch at the Lion House. It was really really good! And it was nice to sit together for a meal.
I loved this picture because Weston loves his Uncle Brad... after telling me he was pooping when I got to their house he asked me where Uncle Brad was. He's so cute and they have a good time together.
This was us saturday night at Ian's work. Brad had never been there and was a little jealous of the Rock Band and half pipe in the back. We stayed and played rock band for awhile and it was my first time. It's way cool and easier than I thought..... thank goodness.
Brad and I left Sunday morning to go see his mom who was visiting his sister. We had dinner at Bill and Cindy's and then stayed up and played Hand and Foot... very confusing but pretty fun once I got the hang of it. We ended up staying the night and left early in the morning. It was so nice to be able to see all of our families and can't wait to go back down to see everone again!

My 1st Trip to Lagoon!!!

My mom had been planning on coming up to Utah for awhile and was going to come see us and we were going to have to take her back down. So we thought hey, let's go to Lagoon since I have never been. Plans changed and my dad and sister (Jules) were coming up too so it was easier for us to go down. But we still wanted to go to Lagoon! So this is the Friday we left to go to Utah!!
This is Brad and I and my new hair color of choice. On our way down at like...7 in the morning. It was really early and for some reason we could manage to be awake enough for a picture!! It was the beginning of a fun weekend! We made really good time and got down to South Weber around 10 and Lagoon didn't open til 11. So Brad noticed at Grandpa Snowball's funeral that he was born in South Weber, and knew of a tiny local graveyard that he thought had some Snowballs buried there. So we took a detour to this graveyard. It was interesting looking at all the different tombstones, and how they did them. We didn't find any Snowballs but I love that Brad pays attention to details like that and suprises me with little side trips like that. It really meant a lot to me and it was really sweet. This is Brad infront of the biggest tombstone there..in the back ground.
We really like hats and we were waiting for Alex and his cousin Rylie to get there. The guy in the store just stared at us like we were crazy but we had fun with them.. Brad was wearing a "pimp" hat (sorry mom I know you don't like that word, but that's what it was called. ha) and I'm wearing an old lady flowery hat..but you can't really see the flowers... Dang.
Brad and the boys decided to do some drag racing. It was really cool to watch minus there were tons of bees following me. But they went super fast and after Brad got third twice he got 2nd on his last try... go Brad!!
This is Brad and Rylie doing to the Catapult. It basically launches you 280 feet into the air... Stupid boys... Alex and I were way to scared to even attempt... but they have a camera on the ride so we got to see the boys faces as they got launched and came back down! Pretty cool!
All and all it was a really fun trip to Lagoon, Brad played a throwing game and won a big monkey. And we all played some mini golf! All the rides were really fun and pretty intense.. But we had a blast.
