August 2015

We MOVED!!
We found an apartment in Orem right down the street from UVU and we are so happy and excited about being here!

Shannon watched Wilson on moving day so we were able to get everything in and get Wilson's room completely done for him! He loves having his own room and can happily play in there while I unpack everything else.
We decided to bring EVERYTHING into the apartment so we could really purge through a lot of stuff and between the trash and DI we got rid of so much stuff, it felt great!

We were waiting to get a couch so we used camp chairs and the recliner, Wilson thought it was a lot of fun to climb on the chairs.

Up until this move Wilson has only had a handful of baths in an actual bath tub.  He's been loving his regular baths and all the room he has to play in the tub!

I am honestly the worst mover! I hate to pack/unpack and this was my first move with a baby, which  made it that much worse.  By the time Wilson was napping I didn't want to unpack! lol So I decided it will be a work in progress and the apartment will get there eventually!

This sweet boy knew something was up when we were packing, he didn't sleep very well.  After the move he was really confused and would only want to be held and on one of our laps all day! I would say it took about a week or 2 for him to understand that this was home and that mom and dad weren't going anywhere.

He loved all the things to climb on while we unpacked and his new toy bin!

Brad and I got him this tent and it's the cutest thing! He stays in there and plays with his toys and things it's the greatest!

We took a break from unpacking and we went to the BYU Football scrimmage to watch the team and see how they are looking for the season! It was pretty hot but we got to sit really close! Wilson didn't last too long so him and I went and wandered around until dad was done.  After Brad watched all that he wanted, we went to Bam Bams BBQ in Provo! It was super good and I can't wait to go again!

Brad went to another Real Salt Lake game with Ian and they had a blast per usual! He watched 2 different kinds of football in one day!

We finally got a couch and a huge thanks to Randy and Nate for A: meeting me to pick it up with their truck and B: putting it together for me! Wilson loves it and then makes it hard get anything done!

Whatever keeps him happy!!

Shannon and I had a sisters night and we played mini golf and glow in the dark mini golf.  We kept score and she smoked me!  It was a much needed night of fun and catching up with no kids!

Jeff came home!!!! I can't believe how fast 2 years went and how much had happened while he was gone! It was fun to be together as a family to welcome him home!

The siblings together again! Jeff made in home in time to be at Amanda's wedding which was a few days later!! Talk about perfect timing!

Amanda and Andrew got married in the Salt Lake Temple and luckily we have great friends in Megan and Christian and they came up to watch Wilson while we were in the temple!

We got Wilsons first pair of shoes now that he walks better and more often! He was so adorable in his shoes and bowtie!

Wilson hanging with his big cousins and CeCe!  Everyone thought he was so adorable and I couldn't argue with that! He also was such a trooper, with little to no naps he was happy and didn't cry all day!

Finally home after midnight!! He looked like a baby Chip n' Dale's dancer! Haha

Shannon invited us to go to the Bean Museum with them and it worked out perfect for us to go together all in one car!

We wandered around and saw all the cool stuffed animals around the museum! It was big and open and not crowded at all, which helps now that Wilson takes his own route everywhere!

Then, we decided we needed a treat, so we stopped for donuts at Krispy Kreme's, which is always a good idea!

His babble is so cute and he is so brave and loves to climb and stand on anything that makes him bigger and me stress!

He just looks so dang cute! He's growing up so fast, Brad and I can hardly keep up! We are loving every phase that comes along and will try to savor every moment!
