October 2015

October was pretty low key, our main focus is letting Brad do school and not distract him too much! He loves his classes and he really loves writing for the sports section for the schools paper.  He's been assigned to cover the soccer team and has been loving it!

Wilson has found the best distraction in the movie Mr. Peabody and Sherman! It's the only thing that will captivate him longer then 10 mins! He will now watch the whole movie!
We also watched conference this month and it was very different with a mobile toddler! He liked the music and keeping him entertained throughout the rest was tough!

Most days this is how we spent our time, chilling, reading, and playing! It actually has been a nice break from some of our busier days!

Brad and a buddy went to be part of the audience at Game Day! They were up in Salt Lake for a Utah football game!  Brad woke up super early and had a blast representing UVU!

Wilson and I met up with Shannon, Talia, and Beckett at Cabela's to see the fish and the stuffed animals! It was so fun and Wilson loved it! And of course we couldn't leave without getting fudge!

Brad had an awesome opportunity to go to Las Vegas to help cover the WAC Media day for UVU!
His and another guy from the paper got to do interview and get coaches opinions on the upcoming season!

This is Kyle who is talking to UVU's head basketball coach, Coach Pope.  He's new UVU and everyone is really excited about what he will bring to the school and players!

We hung out at home since Brad had the car, which was luckily only for 2 days! Wilson loved playing in his carseat!

When Brad got home we took a much needed trip to the park and Wilson loved seeing the ducks and running around!

He also loved the dirt! haha

We went to the pumpkin patch and got a pumpkin to carve and some to play with!

Wilson was running around so we stuck him in a wheel barrel! haha

Also we took the opportunity to announce that we were having another baby!!
We were so excited to tell everyone and not have to hid me being sick anymore.

Joy gave me this awesome bread recipe and I tried it and feel in love! It was so easy and tasted so yummy!!

Playing in his crib and reading books!

Sams club trip! Wilson loves riding in the cart and I love whatever gets us through the store.

Dave and Jan were in town because Dave had a conference and so it was way to see them both!
We met them and the Wright at Applebee's for an early dinner and then went to a fun Corn Maze.  Rylie and Tyson were our leaders and shockingly didn't get us lost!

It was nap time and so Wilson slept most of the corn maze.

For some reason Po from Kung Fu Panda was at the Corn Maze and Wilson thought that was pretty cool.

Brad and I couldn't help but get Wilson this Mickey Mouse costume for Halloween! It's so freaking cute and he looks even cuter in it!

Pumpkin carving was fun with Wilson, he didn't love the guts but loved pretending to scoop stuff out.    He loved making the seeds fly everywhere, and to be fair it was really funny!

We decided it was only appropriate to make a Mickey Mouse pumpkin!

Since Shannon lives in the most kid friendly neighborhood we went trick or treating with her!

Brad and I wore our Ninja Turtle jackets again this year and Wilson was the cutest Mickey!

This doesn't even need a caption....

Wilson caught on pretty quick and got a nice little bowl full of candy.  We finally decided to call it quits and Wilson was not ready to be done even after going 3-4 blocks away! Brad and I brought him back and turned on Mr. Peabody and he was completely content with that!  Halloween was so fun with the Bowles and we hope to do it again with them next year!
