June 2015

We had so much fun this month, it was finally feeling like summer and we took full advantage of it!

ROAD TRIP!!! We started our road trip to Washington for a visit with Pa! Wilson was a great traveler as long as one of us was back there with him.

Wilson took great naps and loved getting out of his carseat whenever we had to stop, which is often because of his mom! haha
We decided to split up the drive and stopped in Boise, ID then drove the rest of the way!

We made it!!! Dave is learning how to play the guitar and Brad already plays, so it was fun to listen to them play together!

Wilson loved having Pa chase him around and was loving all the space to go wander!

I have an embarrassing obsession with Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives, so while we were in Washington I wanted to go to one of the many in Portland!  We picked the Blueplate Diner! Brad and Dave got their classic grilled cheese and tomato soup, and I tried the Roast Beef Melt with mashed potatoes.  Brad and I went way out of our comfort zone and tried their house sodas, Brad got the Eastern Connection (orange, ginger, lemongrass, lime leaf) and I got Tooted Fruit (orange, lemon, strawberry, ginger)  Wilson was happy with his puffs! It was so much fun and something I had been wanting to do for a long time!

We also went to Seattle for a Mariners game!! Wilson got a new shirt and hat from Pa and couldn't look cuter!! We stopped by the Seahawks fan store and here's Wilson and daddy with his name sake!

I love this 3 generation picture at Safeco Field, were keeping up the generation of baseball lovers!

We got to the Stadium nice and early so we were able to take Wilson to meet the Mariner Moose! Wilson just wanted to touch him, I'm shocked we got a picture of him looking forward.

Brad really wanted to take a picture with the statue of Dave Niehaus, he always loved his announcing!

Since we went to an afternoon game there was plenty of space for Wilson to have his own seat!

He was such a good baby, I had no idea he had fallen asleep! Wilson slept from the 3rd to the 6th inning!

We had to document how beautiful it was that day! We got lucky with sunshine and a clear sky.

We were spoiled by Dave who cooked us tasty meals the whole time and even pulled out the deep fryer to make us his super yummy corndogs!
Grandma came down on the train to spend a few days with us and we couldn't have been more thrilled!  We got to visit a ton and catch up, it had years since we had seen her! She also played with Wilson, who loved the attention!

On this trip we were able to hang with the Thompsons and Hallenbecks! We did a fun dinner at the Thompsons one night and tried a yummy taco place and ice cream parlor another night! It was fun to see Brad with his friends and be able to get to know all of them better!

We had such a fun visit and loved being able to see family and friends! We loved all the fun things we were able to do and see as well!  Can't wait to do another trip!
Wilson loved the hotel on our way back home! He was also such a trooper this trip and was truly an easy and happy boy the whole time!

Finally home and Wilson was exhausted! It took a few day for him to recover from all the fun!

He also decided he was ready to try walking after our trip!

He's doing so good and we love watching him get better and better.

We went to hang out with the Greens and Quinn ended up being in a Father's Day YouTube video!! They fed him a fancy steak and asked him what it's like to be a dad!

We really started to get hot toward the end of June, so that called for muscle shirts or no clothes at all!

11 Months!!! He's standing but will only walk while holding on to something, loves to climb on and off the couch or anything else, watching The Chica Show, and laughing at everything!

Finally getting to play in some water with his cousin! He wasn't too sure about it but got the hang of it with the help of Beckett!

Wilson must have had a big growth spurt this month because every other picture of him is one of him passed out!

Wilson got invited to his first birthday party! Lincoln turned 3!!! They made this cute ball pit for the little ones and it was such a hit!

Can't have a party without party hats!

Brad went to a Real Salt Lake game with Ian! Brad had a blast and has been loving soccer the last couple years! So while the boys were out Shannon and I hung and did our girl thang... Jamberry's! lol
We had such a fun month and are looking forward to even more family and fun this summer!
